Im surprised that i haven't seen this news on neowin (at least i tried to use search bluekeep and i find nothing)

 

A very easy and exploitable treat that Microsoft even issued patch for unsupported Windows like XP, Vista and Server 2003

I was also surprised Neowin hadn't covered it so I submitted this as a tip to Neowin this morning.

 

This children, is why whenever someone here wants to open their RDP port to the internet we yell at them.

Let me chime in and just state if you have RDP, be it the standard port or not open to the public internet - you deserve everything you get.. And really should not be allowed a phone.. I prob wouldn't even let you touch my etch-a-sketch let a lone a computer.

I see on that link there are no downloads post Windows 7, does this mean that Windows 8 and newer systems are already patched?
