kiddingguy
I just downloaded the latest CCleaner and (got confronted with, didn't install) their latest CCleaner Browser. It has some great features activated and installed by default. Are you guys have tested this one out? (I haven't) It it based on Chromium or some other platform? Does it work smoothly, or is it better to "stay" at Chrome/Firefox/'the current brower you're already having'?
0 SnoopZ
You should ditch Ccleaner asap it causes nothing but problems since Avast! bought them. An excellent free alternative without all the rubbish is Privacy Eraser, give it a try. As for a browser give Vivaldi a go or stick with Firefox. https://www.cybertronsoft.com/download/ https://www.neowin.net/news/privacy-eraser-free-4516-build-3012 Edited July 5, 2019 by SnoopZ Brandon H and +Raze 2 Share
0 Brandon H Supervisor Posted July 5, 2019 Supervisor Share Posted July 5, 2019 I 2nd just getting rid of CCleaner all together. It's been nothing but trouble since Avast bought it out; Avast in general has gone way downhill themselves in the past few years. Ever since Avast bought CCleaner though they've been in trouble because it's been ignoring user settings / forcing updates (even when auto updates turned off; part of the ignoring user settings) / injecting ads and other apps / ect. edit: as for a browser I've recently started using Brave browser; it's another chromium based browser but has a good built in adblock and a couple other nice tools. Even has an option of using Tor for the inPrivate browsing. Plus you can still use extensions from the chrome web store. SnoopZ 1 Share
