Cheap Domain and Hosting?

Question

+NJ Louch

My sister is starting a very small business and I’m gonna help her with a placeholder website. Realistically I just want to get a package with domain, small shared hosting, LetsEncrypt free cert compatible (or free SSL), MySQL database and cPanel.

The site will most likely be WordPress based but I’m talking a quick 1page wonder right now.

Any suggestions or referrals gratefully received. If it matters, I’m UK based.

I always use NameCheap. Not sure what others will say. Just my 2 cents. :)

I can personally recommend www.site5.com. Their support is good as well. I've also used https://www.ionos.com/ when it was just 1&1.

You can also host a site for free with Amazon AWS. For the static page, you can host the site straight from S3. AWS Route53 also provides great Name Registration and DNS.

Namesilo for domain names and Crocweb or HawkHost for hosting.

I eventually went with SiteGround after a colleague referred me.  Thanks for all the input :)
