Tjarboe
Hello to everyone. New Mac Mini owner here. I'm trying to connect my mac mini to my Vizio d43-c1 tv to use as the monitor. However, once I type in my password, the mac begins to boot into my account and I lose the screen and sometimes it says no support on the screen, and then the screen shows up scrambled, and then back to no support, and keeps doing this. Has anyone had any luck in connecting the mac mini to a Vizio television? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: I'm using HDMI out on the mac mini to HDMI on the television. Thanks! zikalify Editor Posted August 5, 2019 Editor Share Posted August 5, 2019 Not got any experience with this myself but I'd probably test another HDMI cable first to make sure there's no issue with the one you're using now.
Brandon H Supervisor Posted August 5, 2019 Supervisor Share Posted August 5, 2019 yeah sounds like a bad or cheap HDMI cable that is either failing or didn't meat the proper standards to begin with
DentedAphid7
Did you plug it in turn on show black screen? Or plug it in boot > type password and then black screen. Looks like a HDMI cable fault or screen configuration incorrect?
