Richard C. Veteran Share Posted August 31, 2019 Since I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro I've noticed a strange partition setup, is this normal, I've never seen this many partitions on any empty drive before. When I did previous installs, and image based installs I've not seen (or looked for) this number of partitions. This is the first time I've used secure boot on a pc I built myself so maybe this is related?
ZakO Share Posted August 31, 2019 That's a normal partition config when installing windows 10 onto a GPT drive. Recovery -> Recovery tools EFI -> Boot files C -> Main drive MSR -> MS Reserved Space - I think this is sometimes used for in-place upgrades

George P Global Moderator Share Posted August 31, 2019 Like others have said, that's normal. My C drive is the old MBR style so I have everything but the EFI partition.
