I have a 5.1 set that I've just managed to fix and now I understand the plight of many in that voices are fairly quiet but battles are like the cinema. Also found as soon as I posted that Windows 10 has an option for equal sound output system wide (under the output properties enhancements tab), but I don't know if that will affect the battle scenes (I want some good sound!).
