Driver blocking install?

I'm stuck on the latest insider build before the one that was released on slow ring yesterday. It's telling me that a driver is preventing me from completing upgrade. I haven't installed anything new and have been an Insider from day 1. Anyone know of a bug? I'm trying to remember if I read something about the latest nVIdia driver causing an upgrade issue.

Nope. It's my homebuilt PC. I haven't changed a thing. Only change I  really ever make is update my nVidia drivers. That's why I thought maybe they had an issue and issued a hotfix or something. I guess if worse comes to worse, I can just wait for an ISO and clean install. Just a pain...

I read something about the removal of a Realtek driver block, but not sure what patch that was in regard to.  Maybe it didn't get removed from the Insider Build.  It would be nice if they told you which driver....

I think he is on 20H1 though. It might just be a 20H1 related bug. @patseguin You should post your hardware info (motherboard chipset, cpu etc..)

I think that might have been the article I was thinking of. My error doesn't say it's the bluetooth driver, but the rest of the message is the same. I'll try that workaround when I get home, thanks!

I just checked and my Bluetooth is Broadcom, not Realtek. I did like in device manager and saw a ! next to my Xbox wireless adapter. I'm wondering if something went wrong with it and is causing this issue. I unplugged it and put it in a different port and the ! went away.       I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.

      CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
