forster
Hello - probably stupid easy question, I have a switch I want to move, it currently connects a run from the modem, up to another room where the router is. I want to move the router to a seperate room and remove the switch from the setup altogether. The run into the current room where the switch is, and the run out of that room to my router/server, instead of having a switch inbetween them can I just plug each cable into a f2f keystone jack to essentially just extend the run of the cable? It's just going to bridge the connection between the two, and not need to do anything funky - that will work, right?
