Izlude
Hey all. An asian food store opened up and I bought some spicy korean noodles, black package. I only used 1/4 the sauce packet. They taste good, but are still really hot. I had no idea they were actually "novelty" and not supposed to be eaten like a normal lunch... apparently (i only now just found out that in the past people did a spicy noodle challenge with these)? Are they safe to eat like normal or can they cause any kind of complications?
Jim K Global Moderator Posted June 11, 2020 Global Moderator Share Posted June 11, 2020 Complications like.....????? If you survived eating them without turning into a puddle of sweat and tears...you'll be fine. If you aren't used to spicy foods ... the only "complication" really is that it sometimes burns coming out the other end. Just a forewarning. 🙂 Could also give you a slight irregularity to your normal bowel movements. A little reflux, at worst, maybe? Nothing serious though. I love spicy foods (yes, Thai hot please). Izlude
Thanks. I was ok after all. Just read some horror stories of people ending up in the ER, didn't happen to me. I guess I can enjoy them after all x)
