Genesis1982
Not sure what's wrong, but since a day or 2 the battery of my iPhone Xs refuses to charge above 80%. Battery health is still at 91% (bought it on 27 Sep 2018). • Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? 80% is more than enough to make it through the day... but still. Jim K Global Moderator Posted August 12, 2020 Global Moderator Share Posted August 12, 2020 Maybe this is applicable? Quote With iOS 13 and later, Optimized Battery Charging is designed to reduce the wear on your battery and improve its lifespan by reducing the time your iPhone spends fully charged. When the feature is enabled, your iPhone will delay charging past 80% in certain situations.
