e-Razor
Hi, I was wondering whether the .NET Passport SDK can be used along with C# windows forms instead of web forms. Has anyone ever tried doing so?
0 markus
No it can only be deployed for Web Forms applications using ASP.NET. I am not sure if once you have installed the SDK you will be actually allowed to authenticate users as this required a service agreement fee with MS. 0 pylesj
it is possible to connect to the database using a different way, but believe me its hard and complicated.
0 azcodemonkey
Unless there is some restriction by MS not to use it in a WinForm, you should be able to do so. It's the server end that has to meet certain requirements from what I've read. It's just a web service.
