Microsoft really needs to prompt users for their Microsoft password once a month when logging in and not the pin.

Once again, today I asked a customer to type in their windows password and they proceeded to type in their pin. I said no, that's the pin which supplements the password for login, and for them to enter their Microsoft password. They, like most people have only entered their PIN they have no idea what their Microsoft password is.

In my opinion, Microsoft should prompt them for their password at login once a month so people will remember it.

I'm still not sold on the pin concept. Authenticator push notifications are lovely though. Especially on my watch.
