Inkjet Sticker Paper - anyone use?

Recommended Posts

Hey again! I've been wanting to make my own stickers for a while. I watched some YT vids about it, everyone kept leaning towards this brand called LD (and their glossy sticker paper). I encountered another brand called Koala (matte)... I ended up going with LD's gloss first. They look great, but er... the ink scratches off pretty easily. It's not about wet ink or smudging, the ink is dry.. it just scratches off with the slightest abrasion. Putting the stickers on a phone case and into the pocket = big no-no....

What the heck am I going to do with 95+ sheets of this stuff? It only cost about $18, no big loss. What real world application merits such sticker paper if it's as delicate as an actual glossy photo print (which I do deal with and I frame them ASAP to avoid scratches). Maybe I should sell them off at the swap meet for half price + warnings? :P

I ordered the Koala brand (matt stickers) and the paper came today. I tested 1 print and it works great!  Brilliant color, print mode on premium matte (full flush colors), absolutely no issue with scratching!  They are however, matte and run a bit thin... I haven't stress tested them yet aside the attempted scratching (which passed with flying colors, no pun intended). They might be more durable if I laminate them. Self sealing sheets are expensive, 10 sheets for $20. Yikes!  (and they run thick). Any cheaper solution? Would packing tape work? Specific brand? :) Thanks!

    • I tried to get the latest secureboot certificate for my old Dell 7010 Optiplex machine.   I restored the default settings to Secure Boot. Big mistake.  Now when secure boot is on. The machine doesn't boot and complains about no booting devises.  The computer's secure boot can't find where to boot and the information apparently has to be entered manually.  Secureboot's settings are now years old and it can't find a new configuration.  What could be done here? There are plenty of files to choose from in the secureboot menu, but I don't know what to put there for each of the four Windows 11 upgraded from 10..... originally who knows what (used machine) without secureboot it booting normally

    • They need to follow the standard for AAA game but they will go at lowest level for triple a game because will sell more, earn kudos and the milk it for years anyway. look how much they milked gta 5 and how they milked the original 3 - San Andreas and vice city. it is probably going to be a fun game but then they allowed someone to remake classics that somehow were more broken and worse then original i hope they don’t ###### up this one!!!
    • In addition to the "sidebar app list" and "Collections" features, Microsoft will also deprecate the "Drop" feature. Before you publish this news and credit another site, here is the original source: https://x.com/i/status/2067838711870439583 .
