Virtualbox mouse

Doesn't virtualbox have a program you can install to give enhanced graphics and input controls (for keyboard and mouse) if I recall correctly, it should be able to be installed from the virtual box top window menu?

It has been a while since I used it myself but I found a couple of screenshots, they are called "Guest Additions"

Note that you will also get 3D acceleration for XP guests if you use VirtualBox versions before 6.1 where it was removed.

Without guest additions you should be able to click into the window and it captures the mouse. Then you can press a key (default = Right Ctrl) to release the mouse.
