3 monitors, I want to have 2 of them go to sleep

Recommended Posts

I have 3 monitors on my system, 2 that I use and the 3rd is simply for the security camera's output. I would like to at night have the 2 monitors that I do not use (at night) go to sleep. Is this possible, and if so, how would I go about doing it?

Can you not just... turn them off when you're done using them at night?

I don't know of any software that can do this automatically but there's a command line tool that can turn off monitors - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/multi_monitor_tool.html - you could use Windows scheduled tasks to setup a task that runs after x idle minutes to turn off the screens, and then run the commands to turn them back on again on mousemove or keypress.
