"Subscriptions"

Recently there are number of companies/ brands that are offering their services for life time i.e. Storage, VPN etc. What's exactly is lifetime? Forever? What if the company shuts down after 2 year? Meanwhile I had that, "Life Time Subscription"? Just wanna what others think about "Life Time Subscriptions". Are these really worth it. Or perhaps their service is so crappy that they decide to sell their service at a "low price" for "Life Time". Like who has seen future?

Probably until the company goes out of business. I had a company have lifetime regret. They keep trying to get me to switch over from a Lifetime account to a Yearly Pro account .. with the first year free!
