I'm getting a sudden surge in massive ad graphics too.  Multiple LARGE ones appearing in the middle of thread topics, and a massive one that keeps sliding down from the top of the screen.

 

Sorry Neowin, I know you guys need ads, but these are really obnoxious and I REALLY don't want to take you off my adblock whitelist, so could you guys look into it?  I'm presuming this isn't intentional as you've never been this "in your face" with ads until the last day or so...

Ugh, I found the tag that is causing it. I have an old autoads script in the <head> it was fine there when autoads was not enabled at AdSense, but it became active for members. I removed it (also a dupe line for guests).

 

For guests I had it twice, the old and new, I removed the older entry.

From what I've seen, uBlock actually hides the Mini Spy window, too. One more reason why I have this site whitelisted. ;)

Seems to be fixed now, thanks.  Was going to post pics but I got beaten to it! ;)

Can you tell me why when I first load up a thread, I get this:

 But when I reset the page, all the ose ads between posts.

And now I don't see ANY advertising. Even on the Home page. There should be one on top and right side..

 

This on my end or yours?

 

Edit: I do have ublock, but it is whitelisted for this URL.
