Setting up a new build after 6 years! First time RGB - Need inputs!

Hi Guys,

Lost my other ID, hence had to set up a new one. So I'm setting up a new build for myself and im doing so after 6 years. First time with plenty of RGB in it. So I need your help to tell me what's missing / What i'm doing wrong / If I need to make any changes, etc.

CPU - 12600k

Mobo - TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4

RAM - Corsair Dominator 2x8 GB DDR4 3200

PSU - Old (10 years or so) Corsair 550W  (in use currently)

Monitor - MSI Artymus 343CQR (Should i get another one?)

GPU - RTX 2060 (in use currently)

Case - Lian Li o11 dynamic Black

AIO - Corsair H150i Elite LCD (comes with an iCUE COMMANDER CORE) (Total 3 fans here)

Case Fans - Corsair Black LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop RGB LED PWM Fan — 3 Fan Pack with Lighting Node PRO x 2 (Total 6 fans here)

Keyboard - Corsair K70 Low Profile

Mouse - Glorious Model O

SSD/HDD - Samsung 970 EVO (in use currently) & 1 TB Seagate HDD (in use currently)

I dont see any RGB DDR5 RAM options hence sticking with DDR4 mobo and RAM. Plus DDR5 RAM is really expensive right now.

I'm mainly into FPS games.

Few questions:

Was curious on the 6 fan and 3 fan AIO setup. Will they all work in tandem? Do i need any extra components here so the RGB will be in sync across all?

Can I use other companies fans like Thermaltake, Lian Li with Corsair iCue Software or do I need to use each brand's software for each brand if i go with different brands? Any good RGB fans out there that are cheaper and as good as corsair's? I don't want to use multiple softwares to set up my RGB though.

Is the RAM speed too slow for Alder Lake?

Where can I get a 3 series RTX GPU for cheap?

Should I go for a AMD Ryzen 5700x Setup instead?

Should i get another monitor instead of the MSI Artymus 343CQR?

Get a new PSU. 10 year old? Also, you need at 650/750W for your GPU.

You can change the different fans and RGB.

-Most fans can work as long as you have 3-4 pins. There are others, but most of them are together.

-Corsair is good, CoolerMaster, or Thermaltake.

I don't want to use multiple softwares to set up my RGB though.

-Most RGB are controlled by phone software or (see picture above)

-3200 is good. You can always overclock it :)

Where can I get a 3 series RTX GPU for cheap?

-IDK, sorry..

Should I go for a AMD Ryzen 5700x Setup instead?

-Well, AMD is good. I personally love them, but some other people don't so, either should get what you want.

Should i get another monitor instead of the MSI Artymus 343CQR?

-Depends on what you like. I have a LCD from ~2010..

My 2 cents. If anyone want to hit me, go ahead..
