mazingo Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 I cannot not for the life of me, get connected to ATT DSL with my ps2 network adaptor... my broadband connection assigns me a new ip address everytime and i can not get a connection...any ideas? bryonhowley Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 Just use a router. If your connection uses PPPOE just set the router's pppoe client up and away you go. An always on connection no need to use the built in PPPOE in Windows and will work on any systems that can use an ethernet connect, XBOX PS2 LINUX or what ever. nugg3t Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 i bought a smc router 1 year and half ago, still going good. basically u have smc, d-link and linksys. all of them have good quality routers. if u want, wireless is better, but, more expensive.
