Digitalfox Posted December 30, 2021 Share Posted December 30, 2021 (edited) Hello, I just bought this brand new WebCamera Lenovo 510 FHD Webcam https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/accessories-and-software/webcams-and-video/webcams-&-video_webcams/gxc1d66063 Only page for support is this one: https://support.lenovo.com/aw/en/accessories/acc500235 I can't find any drivers on Lenovo, Windows Update, the box where it came, Internet, nowhere... Windows recognizes like this: But uses generic Windows drivers: And Windows Hello to function properly (recognize my face) needs proper drivers. Digitalfox Posted December 30, 2021 Author Share Posted December 30, 2021 (edited) It's a common issue, that the default windows generic driver for Web Camera, Windows Hello fails to read the face. I just find really odd, that no driver for a 2/3 month product doesn't exist (the support page for the product was created 2 months ago)... Jim K Global Moderator Posted December 30, 2021 Global Moderator Share Posted December 30, 2021 Read on some message board (forgot where) that one of their members had a similar problem with the Lenovo 500 model. They solved it by going to the following directory: C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriver ...and right clicking/installing HelloFace.inf It then showed as being available in the Sign-in options. I couldn't find any downloadable drivers for this model either so the ones from Microsoft are probably the latest. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
