Make app drawer the home screen? (as in, disable home screen)

Similar to how iOS operated before they introduced widgets to Springboard.

 

I currently use Nova Launcher but I don't think this is possible.

 

Any ideas/alternative launchers?

there's several launchers that mimic iOS if you do a quick google search.

 

if you don't want just mimicry though then here's a few I found looking around

 

Hayai Search Launcher

Total Launcher - takes a bit of configuration but can be set to app drawer only mode

Niagara Launcher

 

 

edit: depending on what phone you have some have a "simple" mode you can enable for the home screen that sets it to just the app drawer. Honor phones had this setting when I had one for example. Underrated setting if you ask me that more should implement.
