How do you know people with fake followers?

Hey, I want to check if someone has fake followers on social media? How do i see

The answer here is "common sense".  If Kim Kardashian has millions of followers, that makes sense (in this weird world).  If John down the road who works in the pub has hundreds of followers, all with very generic names, generated looking usernames, typo's on profiles and so on - then yeah, they are fake.
