2 Sandisk Flash Drives only showing 249MB available out of 16GB

Bought 2 Idenital Sandisk small flash drives,  says 16gb on the drive itself,  some reason Windows only sees 249MB available?   anyway to solve this issue?

Did you get scammed?  Where did you get them?  Have you formatted them?

check disk management to make sure they don't have multiple partitions. you may also be able to reset them better with Rufus compared to windows formatting tool.

 

there's also the possibility you got scammed and they're not legit drives like Jim mentioned

Yeah, I think there are two partitions on those.

 

Where did you buy them from?

Bought from Amazon,  Think i figured it out or i hope lol,    one had multiple paritions,   one  was a memtest86 usb, and i remade it after running diskpart, clean on it for second one, and 249mb exactly again.     So think figured out the cause, possibly had both set as memtest boot flash drives at first

 

Cleaned both with Diskpart

full restored 14gb on Utlites one

 

249mb for the Memtest86 one after creating that

 

One is now Utlities flash drive

and One is Memtest86 test usb
