Bruinator
Hi, I want to put windows 10 pro on an external ssd using rufus. I would also like to use it on any desktop / laptop I want. The question I have is when it comes to the image option should I chose "Standard windows installation" or "windows to go" ? If someone could let me know that would be great. Thx

0 rmorris003
You want Windows to go install if you want to use the drive on multiple computers without driver issues. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/planning/windows-to-go-overview for more info on Windows to Go. 0 +Matthew S. Subscriber² Posted April 17, 2022 Subscriber² Share Posted April 17, 2022 Obviously if you want to be able to use it on that MBP then it'll have to be 32 bit. Also UEFI.
