Windows Virtual Desktop. Virtual Memory Space?

Recommended Posts

If you are using Task View in Windows 10 or 11, and you open up a Virtual Desktop, is that running separate memory space? Is each virtual desktop truly virtual as if you're running a VM?  If you want to open browsers in a virtual desktop however be logged into say Microsoft365 as different users per Virtual Desktop? Or is that only obtainable by running an actual Virtual Machine?  Incognito isn't a solution here.

Pretty certain the answer is no, however wanted to see if anyone had any insight.
