VGA to HDMI and HDMI over VGA - Dream come true!

Recommended Posts

While working on computers in the basement I usually remotely connect to them upstairs with screenconnect, but when they reboot and do major updatesor anything else external from windows such as a memtest,  i'm left blind unless I go downstairs and check on them.

I had some IP KVM's that i bought off eBay in the past, but they were old and required IE to even function., all I wanted to do is know the progress of something

So, I got

USB 3.0 HDMI capture https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B091NWB4RJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

HDMI over Ethernet https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WFLHTKK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

and VGA to HDMI https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07121Y1Z3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I have an ethernet cable going under the desk behind the couch though the basement and into the washroom and plugging into the other HDMI to ethernet box and then into the USB to HDMI adapter in my server. Then I just open the camera app and BOOM!
