Windows 10 not feeling sleepy. Keeps waking up

Recommended Posts

I'll put the PC to sleep if I know I'm going to be away from it for a while. Sometimes it stays asleep, other times it wakes up. It may wake up within minutes or much later. There's no real consistency that I've found.

The very first time it did it, I Googled how to find out what's waking it & followed the instruction:

That was the last time anything came up for -waketimers.

It's happened a few times since & I always get this result:

So errr, yeah...

* Why does it only some times do it?

* How do I get it to stay asleep once it's sent to sleep?

Disable wake timers and wake-on-lan:

Option one recommended.

Option two is more convenient. If step 6 is available, you don't have to do steps 1, 2 and 5. If it's not, do step 5.
