LIKE button

The LIKE button seems to not be working quite correctly for me anymore.  If I click it, I instantly LIKE the article, rather than the usual pop-up of options. Moreover, it performs like a full anchor (round trip navigation) rather than an AJAX call.

 

I'm on Edge, Win 11, no extensions loaded.

Dunno about the whole Ajax thing (use it to scrub my toilets) ... but the like button is certainly acting funky (reloads the page...can't select any of the other options).  Edge/Mobile

 I'm Using Brave (latest version) and I am having the same problem also  I can't quote a post either.

@Jim K - so essentially, Javascript does the "go to an address and do a thing", so the user's browser stays as it was.  That's not occurring anymore - so the browser actually navigates away and back again 

 

Also, I recommend the Harpic in the black bottle - it kills essentially everything in every multiverse

 

AJAX was a massive part of what some called Web2.0
