Shifty Posted February 17, 2004 Share Posted February 17, 2004 ive read some reviews by testing the dual G5 w/ a PC w/ the same hardware specs using a dual Operton and a dual Xeon... the apple only scored slightly higher in a few tests which included Photoshop, Illistrator and Premiere. the Apple was behind within 5~15% of the competition for the other tests. honestly in those terms we are talking mere seconds so its really no big deal. if it was like 10~20 minutes or more of a difference, then yes i could understand. also rumor is is that adobe will be highly optimizing all there apple versions of their products to have specifice G5 optimizations which could turn the tide...
