If you want a different picture every day, use Windows Spotlight. I do for my VMs and the pics are nice, it is based on the Bing wallpaper/search image of the day. Currently I have it set download random pics from the top 500 on flickr at each boot and then shutdown but you can pick local files and have them change hourly, daily or whatever - Sometimes I switch to my local random photos from the last 20 years which is ALWAYS entertaining!!
