If you could wipe 5 movies from your brain and watch them again for the first time, which 5 would they be?

Recommended Posts

I'll start

  • Lion King (1994)
  • Contact
  • Armageddon
  • Independence Day
  • The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (No hobbit)

Trilogy's can be 1 of the 5.

  • +Warwagon changed the title to If you could wipe some movies from your brain and watch them again for the first time, which ones would they be?
  • Back to the Future
  • The Matrix
  • The Dude
  • The Sixth Sense
  • Donnie Darko
  • Seven

These are just the ones I can immediately think of.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Original Star Wars Trilogy

The Matrix 1st Movie Only

Seven Samurai

Akira

Adding a couple of TV Series because I thought of them when doing this list

The Mandalorian

Sandman

Animaniacs

Batman the Animated Series (Think I will buy that today).

But your memories of the other films in the series would spoil your enjoyment of the originals. C'mon peoples, think this through lol

I would do all 4 Indiana Jones films but then I'd just watch the first three. Also, the Sixth Sense to see if I can figure out the twist.

No. It doesn't spoil my memories. I just DONT LIKE THEM. Why would I want to watch them again.

No, I meant your knowledge from the films you don't like in a franchise might effect your enjoyment of the ones you do like after erasing your memory.  Like knowing who Luke's father or sister are etc.

The Godfather 1 & 2  (not 3)

2001: A Space Odyssey

The Birds

Lord of the Rings trilogy

I consider The Godfather 1 & 2 as one movie.
