You might well be better using Plex as your media server, it will index all your media and present it all really nicely on the Plex app for the Nvidia Shield.

 

If you have media the shield can't direct play then Plex will transcode the audio / video if required to a format the Shield can play, no need for codec packs or anything. The transcode quality is really good with 6th Gen Intel CPU's or later that support QuickSync.

      Anybody that thinks flying cars were possible are idiots. Everyone would basically need a pilot licence, can you imagine how insane and dangerous that would be, people can barely handle driving on land safely right now.
