What Windows Version is This?

Sorry about the quality, it's from the Boeing documentary on Netflix.

I don't think it's on current Windows 11? Maybe it is and I just don't notice it any more.

I like the flatter, simpler look.

Based on the thin colored border on the Window, I would say it's either Windows 8 or 8.1.

It's not 8.x or Server 2012\R2 because the close button is red and the progress bars are green.

It's definitely not 11 because of no rounded corners

It's closest to Windows 10 with accent colours on title bars enabled but the progress bar is green in Windows 10 no matter the set colour

It's skinned or it may not be a real capture from a computer at all, just something designed inspired by Windows for the documentary.

Test quote.

And to answer the question, it is probably an app with its own style.

Next there'll be a thread asking what OS is running on the PCs from NCIS...

It's a Unix system, I know this!

"I'll create a GUI to trace the IP address of the criminal!"

Actually, that might have been an episode of CSI. But my mum and sister didn't understand why I exclaimed, "HUH?!" after hearing it from the kitchen.

I think it's a mockup for the show, windows 8 didn't have that blue line where it says "more details" (it was grey regardless of the colour setting)

  • Thanks 1
