Scsi Pioneer DVD-ROM *Problem*

Ok i just dug out my scsi card and my pioneer scsi slot drive.. windows xp deteced it and everything..

but when a stick in a dvd it spits it back out LOL.. it reads normal cds fine but not dvd's.. i also noticed something

else. XP has added 2 scsi drives see pics below: *any ideas if i can fix this* Or why it is spitting dvds out !

my com does this all the time with my printer.. installs my hp and something called an apollo.. just delete both drives and re install it manually...always works for me ;)

It could always be faulty if its just spitting out DVD's. I take it you've tried a mixture of original and copied discs?

You could always latest ASPI drivers from Adaptec, its a long shot but it may work.

it will read Cd-r's retail and copied etc.. but not DVD's i only have retail dvd's so i cant test for backup dvd's..

cant even remember what scsi card it is... havent used for about 2 years lol :unsure:
