0 freedonX
Going to piggy back this thread.... Would you guys recommend WIX for a profesional site (i.e. small business) ? let's face it, unless your site has an online store, which mine doesn't, webpages are merely dead. It's more of a huge hyperlink-presentation card. I'm an IT guy by heart, so in a negative scale regarding creativity, colors and design, I'm -10. I plan to give give this task for an employee who we see has a gift regarding design. She doesn't know English and never really knew about design. She started poking at sites like canva.com and glorify.com and has made some REALLLy impressive social media posts and presentations. She just graduated high school and her work is very professional level. So when I hire more people, I want her to become my marketing/design genius. Would WIX work for that? AFAIK to this date Wordpress remains the most popular option as far as no-code website builders. As far as giving an opinion on alternatives, I’m afraid I can’t answer your question. Apologies if this is not a helpful response. Have you considered hiring a separate front-end developer ? And have her produce prototypes using some sort of prototyping software to lay out the designs?

I have, like many services a small business would outsource for small projects. This one being our website isn't something urgent that I'm in need of change, so by paying someone doing something I'm not going to get more sales, would rather wait and get a bit more revenue and hire another person for the team that would do complete differents tasks, but her tasks would be more inmediate related in obtaining even MORE revenue (for example doing lot of our internal organization when in a short term would save of time and would be able to produce more sales). So that's why I want this girl to poke around, in her spare time, which is how she discovered she has a gift for graphic design/marketing

0 Sameeksha Medewar
Well, there are a plethora of alternatives to WordPress. A few popular ones are: Squarespace: A website builder to create responsive websites within no time without requiring coding experience. Wix: A website builder with a drag-and-drop interface and ready-to-use templates and design options. Drupal: A content management system (CMS) like WordPress with multiple themes, plugins, and extensions. Joomla: Another popular CMS suitable for creating large and complex websites. Ghost: Makes managing and publishing blogs a breeze.
