I use an iPhone because it’s just easy and reliable. The system’s smooth, apps don’t crash much, and updates come regularly. I also love how all my Apple stuff syncs up perfectly—my MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, everything works together. The camera’s awesome too, always ready for a quick shot. Plus, it just feels good in my hand. It’s simple, and it just works without any fuss

I was a diehard Windows Phone user back in the day. I had the HTC Touch Pro (HTC FUZE (RAPH110 model) the AT&T variant. I absolutely loved Windows Phone! Sadly, it was killed off due to lack of application support. At the time it was a powerhouse of a phone. Now I am an Android user. I've been using an Android phone in one model or another since.

To Be Honest I prefer Android over Iphone.  I started with Android in 2010 and never switch to Iphone until this year 2025 because of work related.  For one thing Android apps are Free and even though Apple has the same apps they are always Pay not Free.  That is one thing I don't like about Apple.  Why Android apps are free but Apple you have to pay and the app that are free in Android you can only 1or 2 times then they make you pay in Apple.  I made a list of Apple VS Android and which is better and so after I did the comparison I prefer Android.  Well there are some pro for Apple like when delete a message from I-message you have 30 days to retrieve it but on Android you can't receive deleted messages.

After the Iphone 13 is not support and no OS updates I will go back to Android.  I work in the IT dept Help Desk and that I work with Faculty and staff.  Most of the faculty and staff has a Iphone and also my colleagues too.  Whenever a faculty or staff calls with a Iphone problem I don't know the answer so that is why I bought the Iphone for work related issues and troubleshooting their phones.

I got a basic Iphone 13 from total wireless.  They are the "on us" deals where I was not charge for the phone but just pay 3 months for the plan and it is $168.00.  So it's like getting the Iphone 13 for that price.  My credit card gave me back $90 because I click on the shopping offers and I got back my $90 from my credit card and that means my Iphone 13 is for $75.00  For $75 for an Apple device it's a steal.

That generally is not true. What are you talking about? Why would an app developer charge for their iOS app and give away the Android app? That makes no sense. Can you give some examples? My wife has an iPhone and has a million apps installed and usually doesn't pay for apps. I currently use Android and will always use the paid version of an app if have the option because you are getting ads and/or paying for it with your data. Nothing is free my friend...

Please provide examples of what you are talking about.

I have used Android since the beginning and consider myself an enthusiast and was even into the custom ROM scene back in the day but plan on buying the iPhone 17 (probably Pro Max) when it comes out.  The main reasons are Google cramming AI everywhere and Apple is a little better with privacy.  More of my  friends and the family care about use iPhones so iMessage would be big as I refuse use Facebook messaging. Apple supporting RCS helped but it's buggy.  Another factor is TBH I am getting bored with using Android phones and it's been over 15 years now. It's time for something different.

I’m on Android mainly for the customization and flexibility. iPhones are solid too, just not a fan of the walled garden. Curious to see how the vote turns out.

The Apple ecosystem certainly can turn into a walled garden but that is only if you let it become one. You are not required to also buy a Macbook with your iPhone and/or use say iTunes/Apple Music. Third party options exist for everything and are available on iOS including Google's services.

BTW The vote has been going for two years now so I think it's done. LOL

OK on my Android phone I use a calling recording app (Cube ACR app) and that is for if I call my friends and I misheard what they says I can hear it back and I always tell my friend that you are being recording because in case if I miss something I can hear it again.  I always ask their permission if I can record or not and she give me permission to record it so that is fine.  On the android phone it is free where if I want to have more feature I have to pay that is fine.  I don't need more feature I just need it to record so I can play back again.  When I download that app on the Iphone it ask me to pay before I can use and it is the same feature on the Android so I don't get it.  I know nothing is for free and I am not complaining about ads.  I don't mind if I have ads on the free app.  I don't know why would a developer charge for their iOS app and give away the Android app.  Also for Apple free Notes app it is free on Apple but not on Android.  You have to pay on Android.  I downloaded the same Notes app for Apple and I tried it with Android but you have to pay to save the notes.

Cube ACR costs regardless of platform. Check this out, I just installed it on Android.

Its possible you had an old free version on Android, but its no longer offered.

Apple doesn't provide a Notes app as far as I am aware. Someone may have made a clone, that using Apple APIs to sync back and forth, but that's why you are paying.

OK I see.  Yes I do have the old version that is free on Android.  I never updated it.  Thank you for letting me know.  I appreciate it.  Oh I didn't know it is no longer offered. I guess I have to look for a free version of it on my Android but now I now  I no longer have Android because it broke and I shattered the glass when I dropped it.  If I need to replace the screen it is expensive so I rather upgrade to a newer Android when it is time.  I know apple has a built in voice recorder and it let's the other party that you are being recorded.  Yes apple does provide the Notes app and it is the yellow icon.  I have attached the notes app that is included for apple.  Also I have attached the notes for Android and it is similar to Apple Notes app but you have to pay on Android to use the Save feature.

I found my list of Android VS Apple and overall Android is better for me and I am NOT Ranting and this are my opinion:

Android -  Android does not have  line and  I can swipe anywhere to open the screen . (+)
Apple - Have to swipe on the line in order to open it. (-)
Apple- Downloads ALWAY have to put in password or require after 15 minutes download(-)
Android-  Does not prompt me to enter password to the Google Play Store(+)
Apple- Iphone hard to force restart press vol up quickly and volume down quickly and then power button and it said slide to power off but still hold both button and then it will restart with apple logo (-)
Android- just push button and ask if you want to restart or power off (+)
Apple- Keyboard language for apple iphone built in (+)
Android- Need to download keyboard software (-)
Apple-20% battery life iphone on red (+)
Android- 15% battery life Android on red(+)
Apple - Turn off Iphone to charge and plug charger wire to charge and it automatically turns the Iphone on (-)
Android- when the phone is off and plug to charge the phone the phone never turns on unless you press the power button to turn on. (+)
Apple -Iphone alerts you when you are too close to the screen.  (+)
Android- Does alert you when you are too close to the screen (-)
Apple -Firefox for Iphone has no "quit" menu (-)
Android- Firefox has Quit menu (+)
Apple -MS Edge for Iphone has no"exit" menu (-)
Android- Android has Exit menu (+)
Apple- Yahoo messenger can login and log out and it doesn't have you to re-enter the user name and password after a few login and log out. (+)
Android-  version of Yahoo app needs you to enter the user name and password after a few login and logout. (-)

If anyone disagree with what I wrote please input you feedback and I would like to know what I am wrong with just like what I posted with the recording app that I use for Android and then Apple.  I am just use too to Android.
