Well I know it was called Mosaic, but Marc Andreesen created it, and then it became Netscape which Marc Andreesen owned for many many years till IE started becoming usable and popular, then sold it to AOL.

I would use Firebird if they separated the buttons and the address bar. It looks much nicer than Mozilla and seems to be faster. I still prefer IE because its never done me wrong.

Ppl how stand blindly behind IE should give Firebird 0.6 atleast a try. Someone talked me into using Phoenix a few months ago and I'm proud to say I haven't used IE once since then. :happy:

You can do that in Firebird. :yes:

Rightclick on the button bar, Customize, and drag stuff around. Drag the URL bar down to the bookmarks bar. If you don't have a bookmarks bar, it's under View -> Toolbars -> Bookmarks Toolbar.

It's here (default theme). It's a Q or sickle or somethin'. :wacko:

i think i'll just stick to IE6

i tried firebird and it was very fast, but it doesn't feel right... plus i just found out that my cable is going to be 2mbps :woot: maybe i'll give MYIE a try :D

I tried most of the browsers, and i like MyIE2 the best... (please don't try to change that, it's a personal opionion). While i was testing Firebird, i also tried an extension called Smoothwheel. Scrolling in firebird was soooo smooth! Is there any possible way to create the same effect in MyIE2 or IE6?

Internet Explorer 6 all the way, although it doesn?t have tabs. It?s fast and reliable IMO.

I need a browser, I hate IE. The only things it needs are multiple windows (tabbed) in one instance of the browser, and uses very low resources.

yes, indeed..Firebird is awesome. I love the tabbed browsing and search bar included in the main toolbar. Safari is another good one, but it's for Mac only
