Best browser isnt Firebird, not IE, not IE Clones, not Safari or whatever.

The best ever is Lynx Browser which is a text browser. Is the fastest as is text only and doesnt render images

I'm using Opera 7.11 at the moment.. was using Phoenix right until the namechange when I gave Opera a try instead.. liked the features and it worked better with some pages that Phoenix had probs with. It's been a couple of months and with all the nightlies I've missed, I'm sure Firebird has improved alot.. will give it another try after vacation :)

Opera 7.11 here. For Mac it's Safari.

The reason I don't use Firebird is because of this bug:

My vote would be for avant browser. i love it more than any other tabed browser. myie2 is ok as well. but i do not like mozilla or opera and i have used those as well. crazy browser got infected with a virus so i got rid of it. so basically Avant Browser is the way to go.

What's the difference between Firebired and IE? I haven't even heard of Firebird. What are the advantages to using it, disadvantages, etc?

it's another browser from mozilla, based off that code. some great features: tabbed browsing, extensions, themes, middle-click functionality, size, resource usage.
