I wouldn't consider Neowin to be an accurate sample of browser use on the internet. Most of the people on Neowin are more tech savvy and in turn use alternative browsers to IE, unlike 90% of people that use the internet.

I USED to like opera...that is until firbird showed up, be kool is some of the features like saving an entire session of tabs in opera could be possible in firebird,

also firebird has SOME graphic issues...sometimes it fails to display graphics

I use IE but really want to switch to something that's better. For this purpose I tried Opera as well as Mozilla, but both lacked the ease of use of IE. I mean IE starts faster and is good looking.

for eg. Ctrl + Enter in IE you get the www & .com automatically. This going to websites becomes faster...

there are many more such things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm getting CABLE installed in about 2 weeks and i want a fast browser that can do tabs and allow me use Download Accelerator.

so i'm hopin someone here has broadband and would like to give me some insight on what browser they are using and why

well

MyIE2 uses the ie shell and has tabs.. i love it..and it works ok with flashget so you could try it with downoad accelerator

pheonix because it is quite simply the fastest browser out there. i don't believe u can use download accelerator with it but with broadband there is not much need for it. and the built in download manager for pheonix is good enough anyway. i would suggest just trying a few out urself though, these things tend to be a matter of personal preferance

look how the response to firebird is growing. im using the latest nightly and i gotta say... this browser is awesome. i suggest you use firebird. :)
