I use Mozilla 1.3 on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.

As many others noted: sometimes you have to use IE because some lame developers out there don't bother creating standards-based sites. Surprise surprise - Microsoft.com is the worst offender. I understand why I need to use IE for windows update, but I just wish they would drop all the non-standard extensions like their behavior crap. You can do all that with good old cross-browser standard DHTML.

As a developer I always code for Mozilla first. Their debugging tools, though buggy, are very handy - particularly when dealing with complex stylesheets and DHTML. And targeting Mozilla usually means it also works in KHTML, IE and Opera without modification.

well i'm counting down to June 3rd or 2nd.. crap i already forgot ... oh wait.. its June 3rd, i remember now.. 9 day's before graduation.

so that would be 2 weeks and 3 days

ummm.. which one do i download.. there are a bunch of firebird's nightly releases

thanks for your suggestions.

You must not have been using broadband for very long or at least not downloading big files (ie. a linux distro). I don't use download managers as often as I use to on dial up (not that I can remember when I had it anyway, it's been years) but I still use them. Another note: It won't really matter what browser you are using if your cable service is fast enough. Sure Firebird (or whatever they are calling it now) is fast but it isn't that much faster than IE so it really all comes down to user preference. What do I use? MyIE2 (... and why wasn't that an option in the poll?).

I have had DSL for 2+ years now, and have never used a gay download manager :p

I have downloaded at least 100gb though a web browser without one :p

why would you say a download manager is gay.. you have broadband.. wouldn't you want to download stuff even a little more faster?

its the difference between downloading from one server and downloading from up to 10 different sites all at once.

right now with my satellite connection. if i use the IE download. i'll get around 80kbps w/ DAP i get 500 - 600 kbps man that is really GAY ;) :p

Well I voted for Netscape becuz as far as I'm concerned, it always has been the best and most professional browser ever, and there probably wouldn't be any other browsers if Netscape had never been created.

I do only use IE 6 though, ever since the first alphas were available.

Only cuz IE 6 matches XP more than Netscape does, lol, well really cuz everything just seems to only support IE these days.

in fact both netscape and IE comes for the same base, spyglass mozaic, so its thanks to mozaic the creation of all the browsers

in IE6+flashget you can right click a link(like www.blahblah.xzy/name.zip) and click "download with flashget" i find it very handy :D better than saving target as ;)

This: "www.blahblah.xzy/name.zip" is not working. :p

    • War was livestreamed. Also, learn the meaning of the word "genocide". Populations do not GROW during a genocide. Zionist is not a bad word - it's the belief that Israel should exist. The cat out of the bag is your racist anitsemitism and posting of blood libels, unproven or out of context. Even BBC reported a kid supposedly being killed was a staged photo op, and AP just posted how Hamas is murdering their own people at Shifa Hospital, executing them in cold blood. You would rather lie down with murderers than think any different.

    • You can disable the bloat on every browser. That's not the point. I will never use a browser of a shady company. I don't trust them at all. I can still find adblocking solutions than having to rely on a browser from a shady company.
