I was wondering what you guys thought was the best Verizon phone available right now. I currently own the Motorola T720 but am thinking of possibly getting a newer phone. Please leave me some suggestions as to only Verizon phones and some of the pros and cons that you've noticed using the phone. Thanks!

Anything is better than that phone bro. I hated that cell every single day that I had to deal with it. I finally got them to switch me over to a new phone for low price. Got the LG VX 6000. Love it but I think the best one they have now is the Samsung 610. I hate the swivel but having flash for the camera would be nice. I myself am gonna hold out till the summer to see what phones come out. Motorola has some really nice ones that hopefully will make it to Verizon's lineup.

If you can wait till the summer, you'll probably have much better options. Here's a phone that was just approved for Verizon....

No word when it will be out though. Verizon doesn't concern itself too much with putting out the latest and greatest.

heh i wonder why verizon doesn't put more effort into bringing out nicer phones since they have so many customers...

They are more concerned about having a reliable network. Apperantly, new phones take a while to be released as 7they go through extensive testing. Doesn't explain the whole T-720 nonsense.

There's a new phone my friend's roommate just got, an Audiovox CDM8900 and it rocks. It's a camera phone, and I compared the pictures to those my phone (LG VX6000) takes, and the pictures are a lot better. Also the menus and general layout of the phone is great. If I could get that phone at new customer price I would buy it today, but Verizon wants to charge me $300 for it since I'm not a new subscriber :( Hate those rules.

I am a customer care rep in a Verizon Corporate store. I have to say out of all the phones we have the top 4 would be the LG VX6000, Samsung a530, Lg VX 4500, & LG Vx 4400. The 4500 is the newest of the bunch and the voice recognition software rocks! The 6000 is a sold performing camera phone with easy menues and good RF, The Samsung is a sleek compact reliable phone, The 4400 is one of the best selling most popular picks with the easy to use menues minus the camera of the 6000. all in all any of these phones would be a good pic.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
