The reason it isn't anywhere online is because no one else knows about it. My room mate discovered the workarround, I am simply posting the information here.

the open source Apple program, which you can download the sources for right off the apple developer site is called qt data exchange (qtdataexchange).

I can't post the workarround in the open forum because it would violate the rules.

Don't bother with dead-end file formats like WMA, AAC, etc. etc.....

I will use pure OGG the day my iPod can play the files. AAC is not that bad though, it is better then mp3.

I was not aware that this program cracked AAC files for windows and mac, i had only heard of the thing for linux.

it is true, and it only took me one line, but I was not the first to discover it. as you will see from my previous post, DVD Jon cracked AAC a while ago, and made it into a nifty program too. :yes:

Jon Johansen did not "CRACK" .m4p encryption like you are claiming.

he did not do it using qtdataexchange like you are claiming

it did not take him "one line of code" to do it either.
