since there are no more bugs to be fixed, version 1.2 is final.

btw, all the files are same version as my sys files except shell32 which is putting me off from using the pack...

great work and we all hope its not the last...

IMO, it would be better to wait until SP2 final is released. Then we can start hacking again.. :)

I think devil will wait also until SP2 is done, theres no point in releasing it for SP2 beta if hes gotta do it again for final SP2

well seeing as though i couldnt wait that long..i found a program called Restorator that allows me to extract avi, icons etc from dll etc...

becuase the only file that has different versions to my sys files is the shell32.dll all i had to do was extract all the modded icons, avis and import them to my shell32 version...it takes a while but the rewards are worth it...

i hope devil doesn't mind i do this...im not redistrubuting it, its for private use so i hope im ok...

how many files did u replace from the pack?? coz from the screenshot it doesnt look like you've replaced all of them. coz i see a gant 1 icon being used in ur start menu. did u rebuild ur icon cache?

thats XIX msn. i dont remember where i got that from but its version is 207. its a standalone windows X edition. dont know y it wasnt added in the latest pack by windows X for version 211

I use a program called Restoratot, which allows me to open the shell and copy all the folders/files all at once and then assign them to the new shell. The trial doesn't allow changing for

shell versions so all you have to do is copy all the folder/files, except for the version folder and thats it...takes 2 mins tops..
