kiddingguy
Last year (June 2022) I replaced my iPhone XS battery at an official Apple Service provider. I haven’t used this phone very often. Though with the regular cycles af charging. Not many (work) apps installed. Is a 10% drop in battery health “normal behaviour” in one year? Or is something wrong? It’s running iOS 16.5.
Jose_49
According to Apple, an iPhone is designed to hold 80% of its charge after 500 cycles. Making a quick estimate 10% would mean around 250 cycles (or full charges), which would make sense. I'd love for someone to update me in the matter, one cycle in LIthium batteries vary depending on the percentages you charge it from. 0 - 100% will be very different than 20% - 80%. You can extend battery life by having slow cycles. goretsky 1 Share
