Joni_78
Today is the 60th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. What do you think, was it a conspiracy or a lone gunman?
Joni_78
To me it feels like it wasn't that long ago when it was 30 years from the assassination. I was 13 years old when Oliver Stone made JFK and at that time after watching the movie I was sure that there were others involved. Then over the years I have thought about this couple of times when there were something on the news and I've kind of leaned towards that it was probably only Oswald. Recently there have been some documentaries about this on TV and Oliver Stone made the JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass. We now know a lot more about this than in 1991 and I really don't know what to think anymore. Warren Commission clearly left out contradicting testimonies, many of the people in WC have said later that they believed there were others. For example Gerald Ford who was in WC said this to president of France in 1976 Quote ‘It is not satisfactory,” Ford replied according to Giscard. “We first concluded that it was not an isolated crime, it was something organized. We were sure that it was organized. But we were unable to find out by who it was organized’ And If I think about it I would have done the same if I would have been on WC at that time. I would not have wanted to say that there were others but we can't never prove it and bring them to court. I think I started again to lean towards a conspiracy after watching these documentaries and reading some of the testimonies given to WC, police or the FBI. For example these: Testimony of Victoria Adams https://www.jfk-assassination.net/russ/testimony/adams_v.htm Pretty good summary of what happened on the Book Depository https://harveyandlee.net/No_Stairs/No_Stairs.html
Joni_78
And this is something I have never understood. If the second shot comes from behind shouldn't the head move forward from the impact not backwards? Also everything flies into boot lid and Jackie climbs to get some pieces from there. Joni_78
These testimonies are fascinating to read because these contain so much information of who these people were, what they actually saw etc. This for example https://www.jfk-assassination.net/russ/testimony/baker_m1.htm He is Marrion Baker who was the first police officer to enter the TSBD and allegedly saw Oswald on the second floor. I just now started to read this and this did raise my eyebrows. Training for a police officer was four months. He is 33 at the time and in the beginning they go trough his work history. The way he answers to these questions are strange. If he would be in a job interview I would not hire him because he does seem to have trouble coming up with the names of the companies he worked in and worked briefly here and there. Yes he does say they were laying off people couple of times but yeah I would hire someone with more stable history. For some reason I have trusted police testimonies more than others when reading these but this is perfect example that these are just normal people with same variety of psychological issues than everyone else.
