Friends - No Laugh Track (Ross Attacks Women)

It's a bit unfair. It would be like showing an actor's reaction shot but removing the dialogue that they are reacting to. Whether the audience was told to laugh or genuinely found it funny, the actors still needed to wait for the laugh to subside before continuing. You could apply the same idea to The Two Ronnies and the pauses would seem awkward.

Maybe it's because I grew up with Friends, but I still found the clip funny without the audience reaction. If there hadn't been an audience originally then obviously they would have changed the flow of the dialogue to make it work differently, but the jokes are still there.
