is it really possible to disable aero in windows 10? really.

i've tried disabling aero, transparency, thumbnails, etc. but i've never been able to do it, even in the menu, i've unchecked the option and it's still there. it's a windows standard that old users don't like.

That's not Aero. What you are describing are core functionalities that have been possible in Windows NT for a long time. You can never really turn it all off.

Have you looked into using a utility like Stardock's Object Desktop to change the user interface?
