Tesla and Chinese automaker NIO are developing humanoid robots for general purpose use including assembly. AI driven, they can learn by observation and experience. Boston Dynamics Atlas and friends Tesla Optimus. Note the hand dexterity, 11 degrees of freedom and it has a sense of touch, it's recently learned how to fold laundry.
