More like fact driven, not emotional.

For instance, this sounds emotional and not based on facts.

they tried to implement politics in my games (I have a 7900XTX and rearely gets used in full power because modern AAA games are just political DEI crap

DEI is not political in any manner.  The gaming industry is becoming more and more inclusive to attract a larger audience of gamers, follow the money scenario.  DEI is a dog whistle racists/anti-LGBTQ/misogynist hide behind, so they don't sound racist/anti-LGBTQ/misogynist.

Yeah, this topic is turning into some real "shite" 🤫

Waiting for it to get locked, it's so far off topic.

That would be because someone posted politically MOTIVATED nonsense outside of its dedicated topic.

That's a great point. Oops.

I, too, block the political forum. From Showing up on the front page feed.

Yes, it turned nasty because @Astra.Xtreme started throwing bombs in the first post. All the nonsense that has followed is down to that right wing user.

Why would you block them when you're actively involved at times?

I check in now and then to see what they are currently complaining about.

Imagine if you liked spaghetti, and there is a thread specifically about spaghetti. But 95% of the posts are about how lousy spaghetti tastes, how nasty it is, and how it should be removed from all menus and never served again. I doubt you would frequent that thread very much as a spaghetti lover. No matter what you tell them about spaghetti, they are never going to like it, so why bother?

I don't agree with your analogy. Perhaps you and your fellow Maga supporters like DocM could provide actual fair and reasoned political positions in those forum threads. Do that and people will engage in good faith.

I do get your overall point though.

You're a mod. Why haven't you deleted @Astra.Xtreme's post that started all the angst?

Be careful with what you do, because exceeding it would be akin to censorship.

I admit to being a part of this discussion, but I forgot that we don't allow political discussions outside of the set forum. And this is why. Rational discussions on the circumstances just can't be held.

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
    • "77ee94b helium/windows: winsparkle updater (built-in auto-update support on Windows" If that's what I think it is, that is about the only thing that's been missing from this excellent browser. I guess I'll find out the next time I'm on a Windows machine.
