How do you apply for mod?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there is some sort of application to fill out? :happy:

there is no application to fill out. you should bake cookies/pastries, buy dinner, pay for all entertainment, put large sums of money in envelopes addressed to the admins, make coffee/tea/hot chocolate on demand, take them wherever they wanna go, etc...do that and they MIGHT think of you while going potty

;)

i don't know man... last time someone became a mod, there was some major man-boy flirting happening. maybe if you shake your ass a little.... :shifty: :rofl:

Indeed. We make mods based on needs, not users requests. We also take these things into account.

- quality of posts, including how helpful they are.

- maturity on the boards; we want people who can act inpartially and responsibly.

- post count is not an issue; just because you post a lot doesn't make you a good member.

- knowledge of a specific subject / forum area.

However, atm we don't have a list of people waiting to be mods- we dont do it like that.

And you know this how??:rolleyes::

I said AFAIK...

I remember that Neowin was looking for new newsposters a few years ago and there hasn't been any announcement to submit resumes since then so that's how I thaught I knew.

Neowin is currently not taking any new applicants and probably won't for some time to come AFAIK

I love people who try to be in the know-how of Neowin staff operations :laugh:

You honestly don't have a clue :happy:

Radish?
